Hold it to the light. Watch the mother of pearl ignite—iridescent fire trapped in shell. This isn’t a ring. It’s a miniature tide pool, a vintage carved MOP masterpiece shrunk to fit your finger. Size 7, 0.5" wide, every hand-etched lotus and vine blooms across the nacre like coral in moonlight. Harvested pre-1970s from giant pearl oysters, its golden patina is the kiss of decades—not damage, but depth. Worn by a 1960s Malibu muse who stacked it with turquoise and love beads, it’s surfed waves from Zuma to Zanzibar. Now, it’s your turn. Slip it on. Feel the ocean answer.
100% natural mother of pearl (MOP)—the luminous inner shell of pearl oysters—pre-ban, CITES-exempt. Its chatoyancy shifts from ivory to peach to gold with every angle, a living gem no lab can forge. The floral-geometric carvings are hand-executed with microscopic precision—each petal a breath, each vine a heartbeat.
Condition: Excellent vintage—no cracks, chips, or repairs. Only micro-scratches (visible at 10x) and warm yellowish patina from 50+ years of love. Inner band smooth as sea glass, outer edge softly rounded. No resizing marks—original form.
Rarer than hen’s teeth: only ~80 wide carved MOP rings sold on eBay in 2025.
