Vintage Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Dragon Phoenix Plate 7" Wall Hanging Antique

Step into a world of ancient mystique with this captivating vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel plate, a 7-inch masterpiece that whispers tales of imperial dragons and blooming phoenixes dancing across a midnight-black canvas. Measuring approximately 7 inches in diameter (as shown with ruler for scale), this shallow wall-hanging dish features a gold-toned metal rim and a sturdy wire hanger, ready to adorn your space with exotic elegance. The intricate designs—swirling dragons with fiery scales in reds, blues, and golds, intertwined with paisley-like florals, birds, and mythical motifs—are outlined in fine gold wire, filled with vibrant, glossy enamels that pop against the dark background. Subtle signs of age, like faint patina and minor surface wear, add authentic character without detracting from its luster, evoking the hands of skilled artisans from mid-20th-century China, possibly echoing Qing Dynasty influences.

Imagine this plate gracing your living room wall, catching sunlight and igniting memories of childhood stories about faraway empires, or that unforgettable trip to bustling Asian markets where colors and cultures collide. It's not just decor—it's a portal to nostalgia, reminding you of family gatherings around heirlooms that spark wonder and conversation. Collectors cherish cloisonné for its painstaking craftsmanship: thin wires soldered onto a copper base, compartments filled with powdered enamels, then fired multiple times for that glassy sheen. This piece embodies that tradition, with even application free of bubbles, bright hues that haven't faded, and a substantial weight that feels timeless in your hands.

Whether you're a seasoned antique hunter or someone seeking a touch of oriental splendor to elevate your home, this plate stirs emotions of adventure and serenity. Picture it in a cozy nook, evoking warm evenings sharing legends of dragons symbolizing power and good fortune, or phoenixes representing rebirth and harmony—perfect for infusing positive energy into your daily life. In excellent vintage condition, with no major chips or repairs visible, it's a rare find that could become your family's cherished keepsake, passed down through generations like a secret from the Silk Road.
